Description:
This single-room lounge--accessible only through the Lenox's lobby--wouldn't be out of place in the trendiest New York hotel. With a striking illuminated painting of the Esplanade (pre-1800) and a neon-lit bar, there's plenty of eye candy for the hotel guests and area professionals. From obscure bourbons and malts to a heady wine list, hard-to-please drinkers should leave satiated. Appetizers (tasty twice-baked potato skins) and sandwiches (grilled Reuben) are perfect for sharing, as are the "neo postmodern s'mores" that have to be seen to be believed. Most patrons dress in black to match the swank interior (some tables are covered in black leather). Dress to impress or you may feel out of place.
